Melanie Knight likes to get things done. As the Director of Operations and Client Services at Green Financial Group, she supports clients and their families with important administrative and clerical tasks, directs the team’s internal operations, and serves as a friendly liaison for clients. Melanie is central to the team’s successful operation and if you need anything at Green Financial Group – she’s your girl!
Hard work comes naturally for Melanie and incomplete tasks don’t sit well with her. She leverages her organization and planning skills to the benefit of our clients and team. Though to some the financial industry can seem cold, Melanie was actually drawn in by the human element. She finds an immense amount of satisfaction in helping a client with issues, small or large, from opening new accounts to facilitating money transfers to helping generate annual reports.
The youngest of three daughters, Melanie developed independence at a young age and is honored to have followed in the footsteps of three generations of her family by attending The University of Texas at Austin. A lifelong Houstonian, Melanie moved back to her hometown and began her career in financial services after graduating with her degree in Corporate Communications. Her previous roles include a wide variety of communication and client service roles, which help make her a true asset to the Green Financial Group team.
